1) "I've never ordered furniture online or over the phone. How can I be certain I will not lose my money?"
We understand your concern and invite you to contact us with any questions you may have. We want you to be comfortable with your purchase. Your use of a MasterCard, Visa, or Discover is your ultimate means of security.
2) "Do you have a showroom I can visit?"
We are exclusively an online store but have our offices in Charleston, SC. We welcome you to meet us in person if you ever visit our beautiful city.
3) "How does delivery work?"
All orders are shipped using an In Home Delivery service. All delivery services used by AMC Furniture have provided signed documentations verifying their commitment to quality service by conducting background checks on deliverymen, providing insurance against damages, maintaining delivery trucks, and providing honest, personal customer service. Depending on what state the delivery is going to it will be made in 14 to 60 days from the time your order arrives in our facilities. The delivery company will call and schedule with you prior to delivery. In some cases this scheduling can start with a 2 to 3 day window. The day before your delivery, you will be given a more precise hourly timeframe, If you are not ready for delivery or the timeframe given is not convenient for you, you may have your delivery postponed to the next truck coming to your area with no penalties or storage fees. Upon delivery, inspect your furniture closely for any damage. Any items found to be damaged should be refused and returned. This item will be replaced or repaired at the manufacturers’ discretion and redelivered to you at no charge. If the damage or defection is minor enough to be addressed in your home then notate on your delivery slip the item was accepted with a minor issue to be addressed locally. Do not sign for any damaged furniture as no items can be replaced or returned after being signed for in good condition. Please verify the furniture you have ordered will fit into the room. All doorways, stairways, or other obstacles should be measured to insure the furniture will fit before your purchase, The delivery company can not return items that do not fit into a specific room. If you have any concerns about furniture fitting in your home please feel free to contact us for dimensions and professional advice. Please let the delivery service know if there are any restrictions to your delivery such as building hours, long driveways, limited commercial traffic, etc. These should be brought to the attention of the delivery service at the time of scheduling and could result in additional delivery charges. Delivery charges are “White Glove Delivery” and do include set-up and assembly in the designated room.
4) "What is your return policy?"
AMC Furniture cannot accept cancellations on orders which have already begun the procurement process. If an order can be cancelled with the manufacturer, there will be no penalty and the payment will be refunded. Furniture that arrives damaged or defective may be returned for repair or replacement. A manufacturer representative will inspect the furniture to verify it meets factory standards to be redelivered at no additional charge. Furniture that arrives too large to fit into a desired location cannot be returned but will be placed in another location of the home designated by the customer.
5) "May I pick up my furniture and save the delivery charge?"
Yes. You are welcome to pick up your furniture from AMC Furniture’s Delivery Service located in High Point, NC, although a pick up fee will apply. Inform one of our friendly representatives that you would like to pick-up your furniture and you will be contacted with details. |
